How Does It Work?

The RedTouch is equipped with a 675 nm laser source and an integrated scanner system, to generate micro-zones of sub-ablative and selective thermal damage to the skin.

RedTouch is also equipped with an integrated contact skin cooling system to preserve the epidermis from thermal rise. With minimal interaction with the vascular component, it makes this system promising in the treatment of benign pigmented lesions, skin photo-rejuvenation and remodeling of atrophic scars, reducing the risk of the side effects and simplifying post-treatment management.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE PROVEN EFFICACY FOR SKIN REJUVENATION

The histological investigation shows how the skin after the treatment with RedTouch regains the characteristics of a younger skin.

After the treatment, in the reticular layer (deep dermis), there are no collagen fibers bundles but thinner fibers, more parallel and straighter. The After image shows a more organized structure with an incensement of collagen fibers.

Weigery Van Gieson elastic staining is a simple method that is used for visualizing elastic fibers. From the histology of human skin biopsy, we can see that there is an immediate shrinkage and denaturing of collagen. This follows up with the subsequent new collagen formation in Photo B.
